Two more companies join the Life City Adap3 project in Alcantarilla

Derivados Químicos and Sistema AZUD are the two new companies that have joined the European Life City Adap3 project, which is being carried out in Alcantarilla through a public-private partnership formula between companies in the area of the municipality, the European Union and the City Council itself.

The president of Derivados Químicos, Marcello Buson, and the managing director of Sistema AZUD, José Tomás Pérez, have signed the collaboration agreements, according to which they undertake to participate in the actions planned in the Alcantarilla Action Plan for Climate and Sustainable Energy (PACES), which includes measures to mitigate and adapt to climate change, in addition to promoting sustainable mobility.

The Mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, highlighted "the value of the private initiative that joins these Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, especially those that are concerned about the protection of the environment in which their companies operate".

Other companies, entities and associations currently collaborating with the Life City Adap3 project are Hidrogea, Plasbel, Copele, Nutrafur (IFF), as well as the Business Association of the West Industrial Park (ASEPIO) and the Conservation Entity of the West Industrial Park (ENDECO).
