New version of the Guide to Adaptation to Climate Change for Companies in the CSR Framework

The Chair of Corporate Social Responsibility of the University of Murcia edits and publishes a new and more up-to-date adaptation of this important tool.

Within the framework of the LIFE CityAdap3 project, a new version of the "Climate change adaptation guide for companies in the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility" has been published, with the addition of a new section entitled "CSR communication obligations for companies: from the CSR report to the sustainability report".

The aim is to provide companies with information on the new Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which was adopted at the end of 2022, and which amends Directive 2014/95/EU. Thus, companies that are obliged under this new Directive will have to submit a detailed report on environmental, social and governance aspects (ESG issues).

The new Directive aims to improve and expand the content of the sustainability information that companies must report and, at the same time, to establish common mandatory standards so that the presentation of this information is treated in a comparable way to that of financial information.
