The project for urban adaptation to climate change has a significant evolution in Alcantarilla, Lorquí, Molina de Segura and Reggio Emilia.
A few days ago the Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia (FMRM), lead partner of this project financed by the European Union, opened the doors of its headquarters to hold a monitoring meeting to learn about the projects of the Life City AdaP3 pilot actions.
The person in charge of this monitoring and control travelled to the region of Murcia to keep abreast of the progress of the works and actions that have been launched in Alcantarilla, Lorquí and Reggio Emilia. Municipal technicians from the project partners attended the meeting in person, except for the Italian partners who were present by videoconference.
After the review of the pilot actions and their development, in order to improve the process until its completion, the whole team visited the works of the three Murcian municipalities, pending a visit to the Italian region of Reggio Emilia, and its action of reforestation of 4 urban parks. During the tour of the three municipalities, the mayors and councillors of the partner municipalities welcomed the delegation that visited the site of the works.
Life City AdaP3 is progressing well, and hopes to be able to make a future visit to Reggio Emilia to meet this Italian partner and its action of adaptation to Climate Change.
