It´s based on the adaptive park model already tested with the pilot action of the LIFE CityAdaP3 project
The European project LIFE CityAdaP3 continues to bear fruit in Reggio Emilia. After the pilot action carried out in Spring 2022, which foresaw forestation interventions according to adaptive criteria in the 4 "Climate-friendly parks" of city, the "Miyawaky" micro-forests experimented in CityAdap3 are now being tested in 6 other parks of the city.
This is the first example of "replication" of the methodology adopted for the pilot action of CityAdaP3 carried out in Reggio Emilia. The Mayor of Reggio Emilia Luca Vecchi and the Councilor for Sustainability Policies Carlotta Bonvicini presented the new "adaptive" interventions to the city.
